Welcome to the registration site for the IRPCA 2019 Jackson Tour. The driving tour itself will end upon our arrival in Jackson on Friday. However we are setting up several fun social options for Friday night and Saturday. Because we need information about your intent to participate in any of the other options, this registration form will be required. There are no fees. In order to keep your weekend as flexible as possible, and also due to the very wide range in hotel prices, we are also NOT going to recommend any specific accommodation for your stay. You will need to make your own reservations and we encourage you to do that ASAP.
Going up to Jackson on Friday we will beat the Saturday traffic. And by making Saturday activities optional, this allows you to do what you enjoy the most and to plan to return at your leisure on either Saturday or Sunday. So here’s the plan.
Tour kick off- Meet at McDonalds off of the 2700 north exit of I-15 in North Ogden at 10:00 am on Friday August 16th.
Tour arrival- Following a lunch stop and a beautiful 250 mile back roads drive, we plan to arrive in Jackson by 5pm.
Check into your individual hotels once we are in Jackson.
OPTION 1: A Friday dinner location will be announced closer to the date of the tour for those wanting to hang out for dinner and drinks.
OPTION 2: Saturday morning we will have a “Boats on the Lake” tour and social. Hosted by the Yellowstone Region of PCA, we've been invited to join their event. We will meet at the Jackson Visitors Center at 9 am for the 1 hour drive to Jackson Lake. Following the drive we are invited to join our host region members on their boats - or to picnic at the Marina, boat space pending. (PLEASE LET US KNOW YOUR INTENTION TO JOIN OR NOT JOIN THE BOAT ON THE LAKE)
OPTION 3. We will arrange for a Saturday evening dinner and play at the Jackson Hole Playhouse ($75 for adults). This years play is “Red River” a musical telling of Mark Train’s travels of Huck Finn, Tom Sawyer and Big Jim.(YOU MUST LET US KNOW YOUR INTENTION TO HAVE DINNER AND PLAY BY AUGUST 4th PER ADVICE FROM THE DINNER THEATER TO ENSURE SEATING).
OPTION 4. Saturday dinner on your own, but join us for the 8pm play in the 300 seat historic theater. ($40 for adults, $25 for children). .(MUST LET US KNOW YOUR INTENTION TO JOIN US FOR THE PLAY ONLY BY AUGUST 11th).
Clicking continue will take you to the registration form. As you can see, most of the optional activities are going to require that we inform the host or venue of our headcount in order to plan properly. We will ask you for your plans as you register!
Event requirements
After you have made your hotel reservations, please hit "continue" on this registration process to confirm that you will be joining the tour and other optional activities. We would like EVERYONE to register for this tour so that we know who will be coming and so that we can prepare waiver sign up sheets in advance of the tour. Thanks.
