2018 Runoffs Garage Lottery

About this event

Garage assignments will be handled using a lottery system, as was done in 2016. Drivers interested in reserving a garage for the 2018 Runoffs will be invited to purchase a garage lottery event entry. Garage Lottery Event Entries can be purchased beginning August 1. Each garage lottery event entry will cost the equivalent of a 2018 SCCA Runoffs event entry ($1050). Upon checkout, your credit/debit card will be charged for each garage lottery event entry in your cart (NOTE: This does not register you for the event, it only purchases the lottery entry.) Everyone that purchases a garage lottery event entry will receive a credit of $1050 on their MotorsportReg.com account to be applied to their 2018 Runoffs entry. You will be entered into the lottery one time for each paid event entry. The garage lottery will close on August 15.

Names will be drawn at random for each available garage until the garages are filled. The remaining names will be drawn randomly to create the waitlist order. Those receiving a garage will be notified by August 22. The garage reservation(s) will be added to your Runoffs event registration on MotorsportReg.com and your credit card on file will be charged immediately. The garage lottery event entry (value $1050) is not subject to the cancellation and refund policy stated in the 2018 Runoffs supplemental regulations. The lottery event entry may be canceled without penalty by August 15th. After August 15th, you may cancel the garage lottery event entry if the credit has not been redeemed, however, a 50% cancellation fee will apply ($525.) Once a garage has been purchased, they are non-transferable. If you do not meet the eligibility requirements and do not qualify for the 2018 Runoffs, your event entry and garage fee will be refunded in full.

If you need to cancel your garage for any reason (other than ineligibility), please do so in writing to runoffs@scca.com. A cancellation fee may apply, please see the 2018 SCCA Runoffs Supplemental
Regulations. Garages that are canceled will be returned to SCCA and offered to the next person on the waitlist. Any garages that are not assigned/rented once the waitlist has been cleared will be included as available spots in the parking reservation system.

If you enter the Garage Lottery, you may also submit a multi-car team request, in the event you do not receive a garage.

Event requirements

Cancellation of Garage Lottery Entry: Your Garage Lottery entry may be canceled without penalty by August 15th.  You may cancel your garage lottery entry after August 15th, as long as the entry credit of $1050 has not been redeemed, however, a 50% cancellation fee ($525) will apply.  Purchased and assigned garages are NON-TRANSFERABLE.  If you do not meet the eligibility requirements and do not qualify for the 2018 Runoffs, your event entry and garage fee will be refunded in full. 

Cancellation of Garage and/or Paddock Reservation: Written requests for cancellation of garage or paddock reservations received by October 3, 2018 will receive a full refund of reservation fees or deposits, if any. Written requests for cancellation of the garage and/or paddock reservations received between October 4 and October 15 will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee based on the total garage rental or paddock fee. No refunds after October 15.

If you enter the Garage Lottery, you may also submit a multi-car team request, in the event you do not receive a garage.
